Synopsis:

The journey of noblewoman Carin von Kantzow’s corpse from Stockholm to Berlin and back again. Göring is an exploration of the ridiculous proportions which self-delusion and self-aggrandizement can reach. Although Göring is based on European history (most of the events in the play are factual), mankind’s propensity for self-delusion and self-aggrandizement has shown to be a universal trait. Göring has elements of a comic opera - a Wagnerian buffa - the audience is meant to laugh! (Ilpo Tuomarila)
